MB BS (Qld), Dip RANZCOG, FRACGP
Greg graduated in medicine from the University of Queensland in 1978 then worked in various hospitals and practices in Brisbane, South-East and Central Queensland as well as northern New South Wales. While working in the Mater and Royal Brisbane Hospitals he undertook registrar training in internal medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, psychiatry, anaesthetics and paediatrics.
In 1986 he established the Mudgeeraba General Practice - originally called Mudgeeraba Family Practice, until it was relocated to the present purpose built site at “Bell Place” in 1995. Greg completed his exams for the Diploma of the Royal Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 1983 and completed his exams for the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1987. He has been an examiner with the College during his time in general practice. He has also been involved in the teaching of students from various university medical schools.
He has been a member of the AMA since before graduating and was on the executive committee of the Gold Coast Medical Association for 3 years serving as President in 1997.

DR PETER MEULMAN
MB BS (Qld), Dip RANZCOG, DCH (Lon), MRACGP
Peter graduated from the University of Queensland in 1982. He interned at the Royal Brisbane Hospital and continued there for five years. He obtained his Diploma of Obstetrics in 1987. Following on from this he did General Practice locums for 18 months including rural placements. He worked in the UK from mid-1988 to mid-1989. Whilst in the UK he undertook two years of anaesthetics, one of paediatrics and one of general practice. He obtained his Diploma of Child Health (UK) in 1991.
He has been working in full-time general practice since returning to Australia and joined Mudgeeraba General Practice in 1995. He worked for seven years on the Board of the Gold Coast Division of General Practice, served a term as Treasurer and then held the position of President for three years.
Interests: Peter enjoys all aspects of general practice with a special interest in Paediatrics and Counselling. He also trains medical students from time to time.
DR FARID RAZZAGHI
MD, AMC, FRACGP
Farid joined us in March 2008. He graduated in 1999 from Tehran University, Iran and then completed several rotations in hospitals both in the UK and Australia. Farid is an examiner with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, teaches at Bond University and also works some weekends at Allamanda Hospital in their Emergency Department.
Farid is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Interests: He enjoys all aspects of general practice with particular interest in travel medicine.
DR INGRID FRANCIS
MB BS (Qld), DRANZCOG, FRACGP
Ingrid graduated from the University of Queensland in 1987 and trained at the Royal Brisbane Hospital, including completing a six month Diploma in Obstetrics. Ingrid is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has practiced in Brisbane, Rockhampton and Mudgeeraba. She enjoys the full scope of general practice and aims to individualise best available evidence to the needs of a patient.
Interests: Ingrid has special interests in Women’s Health and Mental Health and trains medical students from time to time.
DR LISA GRANT
MB BS (Hons, Qld), DFFP (UK), FRACGP
Lisa graduated from the University of Queensland in 1991 (with honours) and interned at the Mater Hospital in Brisbane, before moving to the Gold Coast in 1993. Lisa gained a Diploma of Family Planning in London in 1995 during her 2 year stint as a GP in Winchester, UK. She completed her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1998 and won the Maureen Duke/Marion O’Sullivan award.
Lisa enjoys the variety that each day in general practice can bring. She has been with us at Mudgeeraba General Practice since 2000, and finds most rewarding the special relationship she shares with her patients and their families. She has 4 children.
Interests: Lisa has a special interest in Women’s Health, Paediatrics and Mental Health.
DR LISA FREEMAN
MB BS (Qld), MRACGP
In 1983, Lisa completed her medical degree at the University of Queensland. Following this, she trained at the Mater Hospital in Brisbane and then travelled to England for post-graduate studies in obstetrics and gynaecology (Women’s Health) and paediatrics. She has also completed extra studies in general practice and sports medicine and has been involved with the training of medical students. Lisa is a member of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and the Australian Medical Association. She was vice-president of the Gold Coast Sports Medicine Federation and was on the Medical Advisory Committee for Queensland Surf Lifesaving Association. She has been in general practice on the Gold Coast and in Sydney.
Interests: All aspects of General Practice, particularly Women’s Health, Paediatrics and Sports Medicine.
DR KARIN LINES
MB BCh, DCH(SA), FRACGP
Karin graduated from Wits university in Johannesburg in 1990. She did her internship in a rural hospital in South Africa and followed this with a year of travel to the UK and Europe in between doing locums in the UK. On returning to South Africa she commenced GP training and obtained her Diploma in Child Health (DCH) and then entered full-time General Practice in 1994. After starting a family she continued to work part-time as a GP in South Africa until 1999 when she relocated with her family to Bournemouth in the UK. Whilst in the UK she completed the Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners and completed two years of further GP training to be eligible to work as a GP in the UK. In 2000-2001 the family spent a year in Dublin where Karin worked in Child Developmental Clinics until returning to the UK and continuing to work in General Practice. In November 2009 the family relocated to Australia, where she was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Karin joined Mudgeeraba General Practice in September 2010. She has four children.
Interests: Karin enjoys all aspects of general practice and has a particular interest in Paediatrics, Women’s Health and Mental Health.
